06 Jul Acquisition- Henkel Cambridge Machine Shop
It has been a while since I posted. The early stages of a business are delicate and hard work. Warren Design & Build just finished it’s 4th year of business and we are now growing in a good way.
We have been working on our business model and moving quickly forward over the last year. As a result of continuous improvement, mostly about getting the right people involved, we were able to buy another business. This acquisition was completed last Friday, June 29. The transaction started about 3 months ago and moved relatively smoothly. The result is a business that fits well within what we do and puts us back in the packaging business, where I spent most of my career.
This business has it’s own product line, which services a global customer base in the packaging industry. It is the old Grace/Darex food can compound application equipment. We now have the technology and the designs to make those machines and all replacement parts. If you come from the packaging industry, like many of my colleagues do, you will understand this. If you do not, feel free to contact me, if you are interested.
We are committed to being a tremendous service organization. We have grown our customer base to over 100 customers. This acquisition will take us to well over 200 customers. In the first week of the acquisition, the response has been tremendous. The level of activity is very high and we will spend the next couple of weeks shipping in our assets and beginning to familiarize ourselves with our customer base. We thank those of you that have supported us in our first 4 years. If you need more information, please email me directly at adam@warrendb.com
