Welcome to our blog

25 Oct Welcome to our blog

Welcome to the Warren Design & Build blog.  This blog will document our activities, projects and growth as we work our way along the path from new company to great company.  I would appreciate your comments and feedback.  My objective of the blog is to generate interest, maybe 1000 followers and help our customers understand the types of projects that we work on in order to generate new business.  I will try to post something new every week.

As a side note, we started in June of 2014.  Since that time, we have grown from 2 employees to 16 employees and zero sales to approximately $120,000 in sales in October.  Our customer base has grown from primarily one customer in Delphi to over 10 now and growing more every week.  It has been an exciting and sometimes nerve wracking transformation.  I would also add that in some ways, we have redefined what we are.

While we focus on building machines and automation, we are a design & automation firm.  We now have 8 engineers and this number will continue to grow.

What does our firm do?  Most factories do not have enough resourcing.  The engineering department is typically on site to keep the factory running.  They typically do not have enough staff to work on new projects, upgrades or improvements.  This is exactly where we come in.  We do small fixes to major redesigns.  We do mechanical engineering work and electrical work.  I think almost any factory engineer would understand where we could assist.

For those of you that are not factory engineers, I say it this way.   We all know what sales people do.  Sales people get revenues and profits for the company.  A sales person needs to generate 3 to 10 times their cost.  An engineer provides a similar function.  An engineer generates SAVINGS in the operation.  An engineer finds ways to do things better or more efficiently in the factory.  We help your engineering teams generate savings.

Again, thank you for following us.  If you have specific questions or needs, please give me a call or email.

Thanks,

Adam
